I'm another one who won't have anything to do with Twitter or Facebook. I also tend to go straight to the forum without visiting the Home page. Surely it wouldn't be too much trouble to post the information on the forum too?

True... I do too
When I noticed it running REALLY slowly this morning (especially the "return route" when posting), I wondered whether I should mention it to the admin, by one or other means.
If there was just a quick message at the top of the forum main page, we could all relax.

By the way, I'm still finding it very slow today, especially for uploading posts. |
But what use is that if the website is inaccessible? I only mentioned the twitter feed as it will be available if the main website isn't and, unlike Facebook, you can see the update without registering or logging in.

Shall I give you all MaFt's mobile number? Then you can do what I did and text him (I prefer to do so grumpily)  I'm really into new technology, innit? But I did look at that twitter link and thought "I don't know what this says. I'm outa here (for ever)" - it was the very first (and I think very last) time I've been a twit.
