I am considering upgrading my current TT Go 930T & replacing it with a new TT Go Live 1000 Europe.
Can I replace the Tom Tom speed camera data base with the Pocket GPS World speed camera database & also can I install your speed camera warning voice alerts.
As this wil be a brand new unit will it void my TT warranty? |

yes, yes, and no.
Copy your existing camera files and ogg voice files to your laptop (or you can access them directly from your TomTom unit), then use "add community content".
Point the "add poi" to the place where the camera files are stored.

Instructions for the "normal" method as mentioned above:
Installation Guide (OV2)
Instructions for the slightly quicker "zip-file" method:
Installation Guide (Single Zip File)
The second method can be used by everyone, but can be very useful for users of Internet Explorer.
MyTomTom uses your web browser as the interface, and (unless they have fixed it recently) some users of IE find that you can only select one file at a time to upload to the TomTom - very boring if you have a whole load of camera files to upload. So this method lets you use a special version of the download and upload it to the TomTom all in one go as a zip-file.
Users of other browsers should not have this issue, you can just click and drag in the selection box to select all the files at once. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-)
