Recently purchased a TomTom Start 60 for which I have the 90 Day Latest Map Guarantee valid until 19 December 2012. With the expiry date in mind I will be entitled to update for free the November 2012 update.
With the above in mind I have also received today an offer to purchase 1 years map update service for £16.74 (November, February, May and August). Obviously I'd be able to pick up the November update for free anyway so really I'd only be getting the February, May and August updates for that price.
The long and short of it is do you think TomTom are likely to offer the same level of discount offer come the New Year (January / early February) meaning I could pick the offer up then and then have updates upto and including November 2013 or should I take advantage of this offer now? I appreciate the offer is currently good as I have the latest map installed on my device and don't have to do the usual forking out extra to bring my map up to date before taking advantage of a discounted offer.

£16.74 for 12 months peace of mind seems good value however you look at it, if you ask me
Whatever they do, or you do, it ain't going to cost you a lot more or a lot less
The Start 60 is a nice unit btw, great screen clarity _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600
