Without installing iOS6 on my iPad is there any way of seeing the new mapping (especially satellite view) in operation? |

Well, you may be able to search for a YouTube video of it in action but I assumed you meant a way to view a map of any area you choose and select between map view and satellite view like you can on our submission map with Google's data?

Yes, that is what I was thinking of. But on reflection it does not seem to be a very Apple thing to allow one of it's products to run on another platform .... |
