hi all
tomtom XL LIVE w europe

have downloaded new map from tomtom. but download was aborted during process by a tomtom error message. anyhow, have now got map working but have no full postcodes. followed tomtoms web advice and downloaded postcode zip file and extracted (tried not extracting also) and pasted into root of tomtom but still i cannot get full postcodes to work.
any ideas guys.
also when i called tomtom earlier they said my live services ran till aug 2013 but after update its showing only 13 days left for subscription. i suspect that one will be another 40 min call to them!!
but i would like to sort out this postcode issue. i also tried pasting my backed up zip file for postcodes but that also didn't work.
many thanks.

Double check that the .postal file(s) are located in a Folder named zip, which is in the Root of the Device.

If you click on the .ver what does it show?

PS If less than v895, grab all/any of these:-

http://download.tomtom.com/open/zipcode/895/great_britain.cab
http://download.tomtom.com/open/zipcode/895/nederland.cab
http://download.tomtom.com/open/zipcode/895/singapore.cab
