I have just got my 60CS and also map source software. I can successfully transfer the map to the GPS. When I create a waypoint and ask the GPS to 'GOTO' I get the message 'route calculation error, no roads near starting point'.
I want to be able to 'GOTO' and have the GPS navigate by roads. How is this done?
I have selected in the routing menu guidance method 'follow road' and as far as I can tell have all my follow road options set correctly. |

Where were you when you tried that? On a road? On a road that the device knew about? _________________ Lutz

From my recollection, MG doesn't provide for automatic routing on the device. I think that you can only create a route on a PC and transfer it to the GPS unit. _________________ Tim |

Thanks for the help Tim
This could be true. I can plot a route on my PC and transfer it to the device.
What software will do what I want and plot the route as a travel? |

You need CitySelect, I think. Its price is more than three times that of MG, though! _________________ Tim |
