Autumn Maps-What Was the Release date?

Could someone advise me as to the release date of the current "Autumn" UK, ROI and Europe maps for the TomTom Start 60? Also, would the next update be by the end of November?

Reason I'm asking is want to purchase a TomTom Start 60 and then wait to take advantage of the 90 Day Map Guarantee and hopefully upgrade for free to the Winter Map update when they become available.

The latest (895) was released on August 27th. So, the 900 version should be offered sometime prior to the end of November, anytime from mid November onwards, I would think.

I'll tell you something else ...............

TomTom has changed their policy abouth the LMG. They are NOT promoting this too much BUT............

Any device purchased after August 27th is eligible for ALL new map releases over a 90-day period from first use of device, not just one.

So, if you buy a device today, and use the LMG to update to 895, you still will get any other new releases over the next 90 days. Certainly that will include the 900 map.

Here in the USA, my cousin just got a new tomtom on my recommendation and they got the 'any new map in the next 90 days message' too, never seen or heard of that policy until I set up the device last week!
