Don't you just love it when a plan comes together? |

so, Tomtom's support says I need to download the latest update (think they would have done that during repairs !) but I can't as mytomtom says the device is not connected with my account ! |

Are you not getting options in MyTomTom to "log in with a different account OR to associate the new machine with your account"?
I see that popping up all the time as I regularly connect more than one device to the same PC. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

I've had the same start-up problem with my Live 120. Just had a replacement unit sent as it was under warranty but the new unit won't connect to Live Services - error:2031. Emailed TomTom support stating I've tried all the re-set options. Guess it's a wait for a couple of days. |

All goes to show why no one should buy one of the TTs that you can't make your own backup of.
Send an email to the CEO of TT stating that at 3 weeks out of warranty having to pay £100 for a repair due to a faulty update is not on and you want your money back. You never know ...........

@ Andy > never got a reply !
To end the saga, basically I am fed up with Tomtom, they send back a 'refurbished satnav' and impossible to connect to Live services - and guess what the answer is - please send it back to us AGAIN for repairs !
Total p**s take.... so it will go on Fleabay next week and I will another satnav - any ideas? |
