Yes there is and it's been a while coming because I'm manually removing all the traffic light and mobile cameras and creating seperate databases for them.
I've cracked the back of this now but am off on hols for 2wks, it will be available shortly after I return _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi
the new download doesn't seem to have these files in
- PocketGPS_UK_GATSO.ov2
- PocketGPS_UK_REDLIGHT.ov2
- PocketGPS_CONTINENTAL.ov2
Or is it just me?

Yes it does. Make sure your browser isn't pointing to a proxy server or if you are behind a company firewall that a proxy server is being used. If a proxy server is being used you will have to wait for the proxy server to update it's local cache of the file. |

Thanks,
but I've deleted caches under IE and Mozilla, still no joy my guess its the ISP caching it even though I don't use a proxy. I'll give it a few days .

Thanks for a brilliant service.
Although I manged easily to install the speed camera list, two other People I know with tom tom go were unable to install without help. Would it not be possible to have a seperate page for each device with easy to follow step by step instructions led to from your standard speed camera page? A surprising number of people with tom tom go are computer illiterate. |

A surprising number of people with computers are computer illiterate! (And I include myself in that statement.) _________________ Tim |

I have just bought a Navman unit which is pretty groovy. First thing I wanted to do was put a gatso database on there, but there seems to be a paucity of such resources.
I found that just about every Google search resulted in your website so checked it out.
Turns out that the download is almost completely compatible with the Navman iCN 510 - you just need to remove the first line of each CSV file before importing it. Oddly, the columns in the CSV are the wrong way round (longitude/latitude rather than latitude/longitude) but when I swapped them round to the expected Navman order, but it plotted cameras in fields! Just in case, I went with the default and it worked!
Very odd, but very much appreciated. Took it around Reading last night and it spotted ALL of them!
Perhaps (since the conversion is minimal) you could release a Navman-friendly version?

Just a quick reminder that when we send in our OWN updates to teh database, we should make sure that we state if there are ANY OTHER CAMERAS NEARBY OR OPPOSITE...... i would hate for the GPS TEAM to accidently REMOVE a GENUINE NEW CAMERA for thinking it was a DUPLICATE.
many thanks to richard and the team for maintaining the database.
regards

I can't speak for Richard (who, the last time I heard from him, was travelling with flat laptop batteries and his charger is unfortunately at home), but I'd think any clarification you can add to your submission would be helpful.

Destinator 3 have released their software version 3.0.75 which now allows for POI importing and alerts when you are close to the POI.
Are there plans to support this?
thanks |

Downloaded the New D-Base no problem, however, the YELLOW GATSCO ICON, appears all squiggly on my iCN 510, any ideas... or just use the traditional Blakc 'n' White
Cheers,
