I have a GO 1005 with Europe map installed (v890.4221) I have a current map update subscription which has recently offered me UK&ROI map (870.3404) [270Mb]. I am reluctant to install this as my Europe map updates are much larger (2+Gb I think).
Any ideas why TOMTOM are offering me this and should I install it or will I lose Europe maps?
Thanks |

Do NOT install it!
You haven't registered the 1005 with an email address used previously for another device, have you? _________________ David |

Yes - I had a TOMTOM ONE XL which I replaced with the 1005. This was nearly a year ago though and not connected old device up since.
Strange how they decide to show this map as if its a new update for the 1005 even though I guess it is actually the old map I 'own' from my TOMTOM ONE? |

Problems caused by using the same email address. You may wish to call CS at 0845 161 0009 or 020 7387 5444 to confirm Map Subscription IS tied to the 1005 device. _________________ David |

Cheers - will get in touch with them as wouldn't want to be missing out on new Europe maps that I have paid for!
Thanks for your help |
