I was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent carry case for my tom tom one xl ? Ideally I'd like one which would take the windscreen mount and 12volt charger cable in it also. |

There are quite a few sat nav cases that hold cables and sat nav, but i'm not aware of one that holds the windscreen mount. For that you begin to get into the area of camera bags. I'd recommend you take a look at the Lowe Pro ranges. _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

As above. I bought a cheap camera case. Holds sat nav, power lead and mount. |

If you end up deciding NOT to include the mount and charger, then you'll find that many cases designed for portable PC hard drives or the Nintendo GameBoy fit standard sized 4.3" or 5" TomToms perfectly.
EDIT: sorry, not "Gameboy"... I meant the Nintendo DS. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-)

I bought a case for my Start 20 from 7dayshop.com. It fits well enough with the windscreen mount and cable/connector, though I don't have a mains charger so don't know about how well that would fit (perfectly well if it's a slim one, I should imagine).
I seem to remember that they have a fair range of satnav cases, some specifically for certain units and others more generic.
I don't promise you'll find exactly what you're after but it's definitely worth a look. |
