i renewed ny Map update service online with TT on the 14 of this month and received confirmation of the order.
This evening I have fired up my TT1000 connected to the PC and 'My TT' is not offering any updates, advice please?

Hi
Make sure you have the latest MyTomTom software installed.
Also, try clearing the cache by right clicking the MyTomTom icon in the systray. Go into settings and you'll find it.
Just so you know, I also have a GO1000 and my maps have been updated successfully.
If the problem persists after trying the above, your best bet would be to contact TT for support.
Failing that, I'm sure someone else can offer some advice..............

Hi avdl1999
Thank you for taking the time to reply, sadly the actions you have offered have not helped in my case.
I paid for the updated map service via my TT account and received a email invoice etc. Does anyone know when you purchase via this method if the map update for your device is loaded onto the system so to speak or is a activation code issues - the latter I did not receive.

It's NOT an activation code thing. It should work just by you connecting to computer.
Keep trying over the weekend and if not resolved, ring TomTom Monday morning (phone number in my signature). _________________ Dennis
