TomTom Live works for quite a while on a journey then I just get the spinning symbol and exclamation mark. Does anyone else get this problem and is there a solution? I have loaded the latest updates. |

What TT model?
I'm currently using a Go940 side by side with a GO1005 and the 940 loses Traffic signals in just the way you say, being out of action for more than half the journey, while the 1005 keeps solid signal reception almost all the time.
The problem seemed to happen around the time of the update to v9.430, but I haven't got round to going back to v9.058 to see if it improves again.
Otherwise it could be a hardware problem. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

I don't know if it's related but just lately my 940 will get traffic within a few minutes but then lose it after about 15 minutes, never to return unless I reboot. When I've checked the network connection it says it's connected.
I did have the 'sim problem' recently which got sorted and had a subscription extension from TT, it worked for a while and then started playing up as described.
I mistakenly linked my iPhone traffic sub to the same account as my 940 when I upgraded a few days ago but I rectified it with TTs help and the accounts are now linked correctly.
I wonder if it's a TT or a device problem? _________________ Mike

Thursday & Friday I had my 550 loose connection and spun for several miles when I got close to home (didn't recover) - yet to night was OK
I wonder if it could be routing or load issues on the phone network _________________ J. |

I also had one or two issues with Traffic on Thursday and Friday evenings.
It was OK on Friday morning; I haven't used it today.
There may be a theme developing here! _________________ Garmin DriveSmart 50 LMT-D |

I've had a couple of connection loses on my 1000. Monday morning for a couple hours and around 4:30 to 6:00 pm last Thursday & Friday.
To be fair its not usually this bad but as luck would have it, it always seems to go down when you need it most!
Presumably its an overloaded network or something? |

I have experienced exactly the same problems at exactly the same times/periods with my 1000 - issues on Thursday+Friday evenings but worked perfectly on Friday morning. _________________ Go 940 (deceased) Live 1000. |
