Have just been offered Mac version 2.8.4.1438.
Probably due to new maps coming this week or next.

Updated manually - thought I should have had this offered and updated automatically. Cannot see any big changes, but suppose there must be some or no reason for the update.
Anyway, having a Nav3 device as well, should I keep my Go950Live? It does everything I want from it but I resent having two desktop applications for two devices from the same stable.

I have two versions of TT HOME - one for 520, 550 and Navigator 6, plus one for my Carminat - the Carminat version looks exactly the same, except it has a Renault icon in the top corner (but it won't "Operate my Carminat", so anything you want to do with the system on the SD Card you have to go back out and sit like a nerdy anorak in the car/van playing with it).

Manually updated here also. Can't see anything obvious and everything functions as expected.
Does anyone know why the update has been put out?

I've had an email from Tomtom to say I have until 15 May to renew my map subscription at the cheapest rate. So reason for new Home is new maps on 16 May?

Not sure if this is linked or another glitch in the TT iT dept.
Updated my TT 910 with latest UK & RI map at weekend, just went back to update today with mapshare and quickfix files. Strange thing is Home offered me the latest updates for the Tom Tom speed cameras.... strange as my subscription was never renewed after I took the pocketgpsworld subscription out ( must be almost 2 years ago now). Wouldnt let me download some countries ( file not found ) but all countries on my old Western Europe map now done - free of charge thanks TomTom.
Didnt realise TT910 needed the new home update so just done that too now.
Anybody else had this. ?? |
