Rather stupidly, because there was no room to update POI's, I deleted everything from my Garmin. I then updated POI's with no problem but then realised when opening afresh that I had lost my maps. I did a map update in 2008 but now when attempting to load this again I am being told that I can't. The CD is OK and I have the correct product key. Can anyone help?

Do you mean you can't load the CD again or the update again? Updates expire after one year so if the latter then I'm afraid you're out of luck |

I lost all the maps on my nuvi 1310. I couldn't use my original unlock code and as sussamb says the update link does eventually expire.
However the good news is that after I'd emailed Garmin they put a "Restored Map Available" link on My Garmn account so I was able to download the last set of maps I'd upgraded to.
Took 2 attempts for me to get over my problem to them however was definetly worth persevering. |
