54.90962°N, 1.54391°W
The link road between the 2 roundabouts. My iphone app and the TT Online Route planer refuse to use this road in any direction but i can't see why.
Can anyone help? Just out of interest really. |

I don't know the answer, but I have exactly the same issue at 52.45224, -1.85284 - the short link road between Weston Lane & Battery Way. _________________ Garmin DriveSmart 50 LMT-D |

It could be the 2 'flags' that enable these functions, haven't been set. It could also be that 'someone' has indicated that this junction has a permanently blocked junction. Be interesting to see if there is a problem on older map versions. _________________ Richard

Thanks. What is the latest map version? TT App says v885 but it suffers the same issue.
I have raised it on MapShare Reporter so i'll see what happens... |

Paul, I have an example like yours and after Tomtom investigated it, they found that the road had been set to 'impassable' even though it 'looks' like it should route ok, an embedded flag set to impassable means the Tomtom will never route along it.
I can flag this up to Tomtom in a similar fashion to my own issue.

Thanks. I've already reported it but any further help would be great.
Not a major problem but i did watch someone a few years ago follow their sat nav against the traffic flow at a junction despite the road signs clearly showing how to navigate the junction. I could see someone causing an accident following the sat nav to B&Q with the sign saying turn right and the sat nav saying "go ahead". |
