...and, just to add, that the mention in the Newsletter about some news on POIs IS a real thing. It's still work in progress but we hope to be able to announce something soon.

VERY well done Darren!
Sometimes the ones you think are too obvious can get the best results.

Ha ha ha! I just read this and also thought you were selling us all out to the devil! And I was here to show my Dad how to download some POIs so we were real p****d that it was sold to TomTom!
This is the only April Fool that got me, and it isn't even April Fools Day anymore! |

I couldn't believe it. I thought "The number of POI's that I sent that lot, just for it to be sold"

April Fools Day is gone so don't you think it's time to take it off the front page, or at least mark it as an April Fools joke? |

Oh yes, I was caught by an out of date April Fool a few years back. People very kindly let me realise for myself that I was a complete **a**. _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

This one was a joke, but I fail to see the difference between this joke and what was done to the speed cam database a few years ago. Wasn't it in essense the same thing, user supplied data was suddenly subject to subscription/cost? |
