Camera Manager v3.6 beta now available

This fixes a bug with the automatic creation of certain voice warnings for alert speeds greater than 100 (kph).

Also fixes the issue with missing downloaded zip files (ie: if they have been inadvertently deleted from the POI directory, or new database regions have just been selected).

Download link below (same as before).

I hope this is the correct way to report that (repeated) attempts to download the 3.6 Beta produce the following error message:-

"Gateway Anti-Virus Alert

This request is blocked by the SonicWALL Gateway Anti-Virus Service. Name: Onescan.A_7 (Trojan)"

I've tried reporting it to Zen but they're always engaged.

Apologies in advance if I should have reported this in some other way.

Nothing to do with Zen (the ISP) - it's your AV getting a false positive (A quick Google search suggests that this isn't uncommon for SonicWall)...

Thank you for the prompt response.

Unfortunately (in terms of an easy answer) I don't use SonicWall. And, for what it's worth, turning off my a/v (Eset) and my firewall (Win7) have no effect on the problem.

But thanks anyway.

I've established that it's my ISP's firewall that is blocking the file. They also tell me - false positive or not - that Zen are reporting it as infected as well.

Is there any other mechanism by which you could suggest I access the file?

I have been using 3.6 beta for sometime now and it works fine with my Win 7 ultimate and IE9 setup. EXCEPT once it finds an update and you install it, it continues to remind you. Manual cancellation works but this is not the behaviour experienced with previous versions.

Has anyone had a similar issue? Question

I think this behaviour started some time ago when Garmin last updated the POI Loader software. Its being happening with CM 3.0 as well. I'm hoping Ash10 can fix in due course.

Yes, I think digitalker has got it.

With PoiLoader.exe version 2.6, all was well.
With Poi Loader.exe version 2.7, the Ash icon continues to flash.

(Note the subtle change of name of the exe).

Hope this helps.

Dales.

I have a problem since updating to 3.6 beta.

If I open Camera manager, the program does not respond, it just sits in the tray and I cannot do anything with it. I can only close it in task manager. However, if i open a second instance of camera manager, that one runs fine.

The first program seems to create some erroneous files in my poi folder called output.csv, specs.tmp, redlight.tmp, gatso.tmp and mobile.tmp.

I have tried deleting all instances of the program and re-downloaded it but that hasn't helped. Does anyone know where the settings are stored?. Perhaps this file is corrupted.

Any ideas?.

Sorted it by changing every possible setting in camera manager, closing it, then re opening it and putting the settings back as they were.

Seems like the settings were corrupted.

Go into Properties on POILoader and where the name is in
Target take out the space between `i` and `L` and apply.
It then it works fine.

Hi All

Is there any workaround to include the French and Swiss cameras in the European download for Camera Manager?

Thanks

Since upgrading to FF 12 my computer at start up keeps asking for a digital certificate for CM. I have to click on run for my computer to continue to load and eventually CM is loaded ok. Is there a way of getting round this? I`m using Vista 32 Bit home premium.

It took me about 15 seconds to Google for this. Does it help?
