OK you Guys, Thanks for your help. It is a shame that when I have paid pocketgps for Cameralert speed cameras and Co-Pilot for the Satnav and it doesn't equal the package offered by TomTom. This is obviously a missed opportunity.

Perhaps you should have saved your 59p and put it towards the TomTom app |

I hope PocketGPS never offer a database as inaccurate as that offered by TomTom.
As for the missed opportunity i get the feeling you don't understand why the icons don't appear in your sat nav app. If PocketGPS could do it I'm sure they would. However it's not possible for all the reasons people have tried to explain to you
Sorry you feel disappointed. |

The older version of Copilot allowed you to import the database files (like you do with your standalone tomtom) to show them on the map. However ALK (who make Copilot) have not included this feature (as far as we are aware) in Copilot Live Premium.
Unless navigation app developers allow 3rd party files to be added then there is nothing we can do.

Ah but I hope we never equal the TomTom package, their speed camera data is laughably poor!
It's not exactly a missed opportunity on our part, CamerAlert cannot inject it's speed camera data into another app, it's simply not possible.
It IS a missed opportunity for the satnav manufacturers, perhaps if everyone badgered them they may agree to doing a deal with us to add support? We do try but with everyone chasing the very cheapest in everything, companies are understandably reticent to engage in licensing deals that bump up costs.
You can't have your cake and eat it. _________________ Darren Griffin |
