Converting POI's OS Grid Ref to TomTom Help & Train Stat

Hi everyone,

Im after some help if someone could point me in the right direction...I have a spreadsheet of OS grid references that i need to convert into tom-tom POI. There is quite a lot of them around 500/600. They are currently on a spread sheet in the following format

Name Grid Ref Description

What is the best/fastest/easiest way to convert them to TomTom? Can anyone help?

Also where could I find a POI of uk train stations?

The last question is easy - you can download them from this site. At the top of this page, you'll see a tab marked "Free Downloads", which has "Download Free POIs" as one of its options.

Train Stations are under the Transport category.

In the OSGB spreadsheet, create a new sheet. Paste in your data. In the first empty col (say Col D), give it a heading of Lat and in the next (say Col E) give it a heading of Lon.
Assuming your OSGB is in the form NS6512161447 and in Row2 Col C (and more downwards from there). Then in the Lat col in row2 (cell E2) type '=latitude(84,C2)' (without the quotes) and in the Lon col row2 (cell D2) type'=longitude(84,C2)'
This should give you the lat/lon of cell C2.

As an example to check you've got it right: NS55636777 is Lat 55.88142395 Lon -4.309527874 and NS594654 is Lat 55.86126328 Lon -4.248076916

Now highlight both the cells (E2 and D2) with the formulas. Catch hold of the little square in the bottom right corner of the highlighted cells and drag down to the bottom of your list.

This should convert all 5-600 of them as if by magic.

How do i then get that in to ov2?

I'm back on this again...I now have got all my data into a useable format. I have used the program to transfer it into lat and long but I can't get it into ov2 or a usable format on the tom-tom.

Its driving me mad, I hate asking for help but this is defeating me.
