New Telmap version - v5.5!

Hey guys, there is a new version for the best navigator available! Wink

V5.5 is now available, exactly 5.51.35!

I still use my old BlackBerry Bold 9000 in Germany. Things I've noticed so far.

I cannot change the language settings. Tried it several times with several languages - no luck.

After clicking "OK" Telmap closes completely.
First Telmap seems to run a little bit smoother but then there was the sandclock for 3 minutes! After one more battery pull after the instalation this problem seems to be gone (so far).

Everything else seemst to be fine but it needs more testing...

I have big problems to install the new version 5.5 in my bb 9860 device:
"Not Found - The requested URL /tug/install/t5.5/bb/480x800/bisbes/ota/SetupNavigatorEU.jad was not found on this server."

What can I do for Driving

Initial feedback. it looks good, works well, bigger buttons on 9900 is great for touch screen. Love the estimated arrival and journey time bar

The new version 5.5 was not released officially, those of you that download the new version from www.telmap.com/tmug , download an unfinished version.
The new finished version 5.5, will be uploaded on the new website in a few weeks.
Note:
TelmapBeta has a new website, www.telmapbeta.com . all new downloads will be only through the new website.

Yes, and install the current version that is on www.telmapbeta.com

Why the Italian version of Telmap 5 does not support "car locator"?
this is provided in other languages, it's very simple but very useful CoPilot

Hi fabtastic usually 907 errors refers to the browser type, try to changing it.

Hi, I'm new to the forum and say hello to all.
Today I have downloaded Telmap V5.5 on my 9300 Curve, but it don't run in this phone.
Someone knows if there are ways to solve the problem?
The previous releas worked, but it has been uninstalled with the new installation.

Why after you "upgrade" does it ask for the activation code again? I haven't kep it from when I first installed so now I have start the whole process again so has taken a good hour. Also whenever I upgrade it wipes all of my settings and places - why isn't the software backwards compatible? Lastly I often find I get a message saying I have to upgrade and can't use my current version just as I need it to drive somewhere. Since the upgrade process is so long and flakey it means a lot of the time it is completely useless.

Pity as the product itself is excellent.
