system crash help please

First let me apologies if this has been covered but I am trying to do this on my phone with a very slow connection.and searching is causing probe.
Now, Im having probs with the app crashing after exactly 30 mins running on my s/e x10 usuing android 2.3.3.
I have been using the app since it first cam on the market with no problems but in the last 2 days it repeatedly crashes every 30mins, and I get a message telling me it has crashed and asking me to inform youselfs.
If I run it whilst stationery it doesn't crash but keeps zooming in and out. Any advice as to where its going wrong would be appreciated.

First thing to try would be deleting the app and re-installing. How much memory do you have free?

Would you mind checking if "Use compass" is selected in the settings?

Hi,darren and ibendlin, thanks for promt reply.memory available on card is 7。6gb and on phone is 126mb. The compass box is ticked. I will try to re install the prog when i can get a good data signal. Regards p

Please uncheck the Compass box for now.

Thanks ibendlin, i have unchecked the compass and that has stopped the zooming in and out. I will use the app in the car tomorrow and let you know how it goesmany thanks p

Compass mode is more for verifiers that are moving around non-motorised (also known as "walking") . Depending on your device the compass may either be too slow or too jittery to be of much use when driving.
