|
Is there a list somewhere of all the icons that pop up in the bottom-left corner of the screen, just above the blue box?
I had an icon pop up last night 2 or 3 times whilst driving into work, and was just wondering what it meant?
It looked like 3 curves bending to the right with a cross through it...
Cheers for any help. _________________ XL LIVE IQ Routes (Europe)

It sounds like the icon for "No Connection to LiveServices". Happens when the inbuilt SIM card loses the wireless Vodafone connection due to no signal e.g. in the mountains or a network problem. |

Yup, it's the standard LIVE icon with a line through it to show you are not receiving a signal.
Unfortunately they can't decide which way round to draw it!

Not that I've ever seen.
Best bet is to download ALL the product manuals, as they occasionally slip a few nuggets of useful information in to one of them!
(for instance, the best description of the Traffic symbols on the map were in the old GO940 manual). _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Actally seen this when the battery gets really low as well. The device will still keep navigating but not connect to Live services. |

Yes me too. When the battery level gets too low, it disables the wireless connection to conserve what power is left. Hence the no Live service icon comes on. |

And remember, "as designed" really means as plugged into a power source - that's why they come complete with a ciggy lighter socket plugging in thingy. _________________ Dennis

Trouble is the cable isn't long enough to reach from the car to my hotel bedroom |
