EDIT - Found the answer, the 1000 series can't be updated as they use MyTomTom rather than the Home version.

I'm going mad! How do I update the postcodes on my Go Live 1000?

I can't see any way to add the Zip file (or see the existing one for that matter).

In the root directory there should be a folder "zip" containing the files.

Found on my tt hdd; I no longer have a map there, so had looked at my SD card where I have my 2 maps.
