Free POI's

Hi,
Cant seem to access the Free POI's download page...................been like this for quite a few days if not a week.
Is there a problem?

Hi John,

What system are you using?
Which country are you trying to download POIs for?

I'm currently using Firefox 8.0 on Windows XP and I can see and also download UK POIs from the web page.

Please try clearing the cache on your web browser. if that doesn't work try deleting all of the PocketGPSWorld cookies (this will mean that you need to sign back onto PocketGPSWorld) and try again.

Thank you for your reply.
Firstly I didn't mean to double post (slip of the finger)

I am trying to find the POI's for LPG stations/forecourts in the UK.
My system is Windows XP prof'.
I have been able to access these files before without problem, but now, for some reason. I no longer can. I get a message to say ' cannot access web page'.
I will try what you suggest and let you know.

It's working here with Windows xp pro and Internet Explorer 8.

Very strange........................I can access all the other 'downloads' including the page to 'submit POI's' but still cannot access the 'free POI Downloads'

Still no luck.............have upgraded Explorer, deleted and re installed Pcket GPS World, all without effect.
As I mentioned before, I can access all the other 'downloads' listed but not
thase marked 'free POI's'.
Loosing the will to live now.

Something else that might be worth trying.

Try accessing the page with the PC firewall turned off. There might have been a setting changed somewhere.

Hi Oldboy,

Turning off the Firewall was one of the things I tried earlier, but that didn't solve the problem either.
I will try another search engine to see if that helps.......can't think of anything else!!!!

Just to let you know that I changed my search engine from explorer to firefox and accessed the downloads without further problem.
