Sorry Guys, consider me suitably embarrassed. It's just that I get into a routine; click, click, click, download, times4, without ever really reading the instructions/info. Nothing much changes from week to week here anyway so I rarely download from the web site nowadays but rely instead on that fantastic app called CamerAlert for all my SpeedCam needs which the Camera Fairies automatically update for me each week, just like magic.
Excuses, excuses, excuses.
@AS3, My gut feeling is that, as much as it pains me to say, both the Garmin and PGPSW camera databases are probably lacking in Spain. Although PGPSW is the dog's whatsits in the UK, cameras in Mainland Europe only really get added to the Euro database when people travel abroad on holidays, therefore, probably very accurate in the tourist hot-spots and motorways but not so if you are in the less visited parts of the country.
I have found a couple of Spanish Speed Camera sites (search for "Radar") which have many more camera locations but a lot of theses are historic and yield false alerts. I gave up on these and have removed them from my SatNav's because they constantly warned me of non-existent camera locations. I now rely solely upon the PGPSW ones.
Short of a Garmin owning, PGPSW subscriber living in Spain replying to your question, I'd suggest that you download the Euro Database from here, drive sensibly when in Spain and report back with any new cameras you encounter, this would enrich the PGPSW database and reward you with a free life-time sub. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599
