Well, where he says:
Quote: | But for some reason the cams don't appear on my "warn when near poi" |
I read that as meaning that he HAD followed the instructions in step 5, but wasn't seeing them in the lift of POI categories in that menu.
But we're both speculating.... Let's get it from the horse's mouth. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

That's precisely my point.
But y'know what? That instruction page does NOT include the vital note which is shown elsewhere - item 5 here .....
I fear that our instructions are too easy for an accomplished user and too difficult for a novice (with apologies to mattcartmell, spelled plonker! ). In my earlier reply, I mentioned answering YES, rather than NO, but I hadn't actually gone to the instructions to check them line by line. _________________ Dennis

Strange thing is, when I returned the 950 yesterday morning it had a full set of speed zoned camera files installed and configured - Mike |

Did you have a route set while driving around, I set up the cameras to warn only if on route, without a route means no warnings.
Postcodes are easy to resolve but lets get the cameras working first, try the device with a destination set and see if you get warnings from the device - Mike |

How about answering Mike's question.
DID YOU HAVE A ROUTE SET WHILST DRIVING AROUND?
And as a clue, the two alternative answers are 'YES' or 'NO' |

Then why didn't you say so?
I suppose "various destinations " is verging on it though. |
