Telmap ist aquired by Intel!

Admin, what does this mean for our beloved Telmap Navigator?
Will it be still developed? Will it stop working? Will there be any changes?

For those who can't read German, here's Googles version (if you can understand the meaning): Quote: | :During a keynote at the Intel conference AppUp element, the processor manufacturer has announced the acquisition of navigation and location-based service provider Telmap announced. As Peter Biddle - at Intel responsible for "AppUp Products and Services" - in a company blog announced that the Israeli party to contribute its expertise in the field of local search, navigation and map data in its business.
Besides the end-user orientation of the company lifted Biddle forth the terms for developers and promised a cross-platform integration of Telmap APIs used in Intel's AppUp Apps. Already include large mobile operators such as Orange, Telefonica and Vodafone to the customer Telmaps. To the cost of acquisition, the company did not comment. |
The answer by TUGAdmin: TUGAdmin wrote: | Telmap user group will be working As usual; there will not be any changes. | does not come close to answering fpeedy's question:

Will it be still developed? Will it stop working? Will there be any changes? | as the 'answer' only talked about TUG and did not address the question fully. A truly political answering technique as loved by politicians. Answer the question that you want to answer, not the one that was asked
Although in this particular case, the 'answer' seems to have satisfied the questioner |
