I have had my TT ONE XL since Jan 2008 and all has been good until recently. I have a new car (Citreon Berlingo van) and have found the sat nav is lagging when turning or at roundabouts etc. The map takes a while to update and sat nav recalculates route due to thinking i'm on wrong road.

doesn't the Citroen have 1 of those shitty purple reflective screens?

i bet thats blocking the sat. signal at times.

To the OP; if the problem started when you got the new car this could very well be the problem. Some Berlingo vans have a heat reflective windscreen designed to stop the cabin getting too hot. Unfortunately these windscreens also impact the reception of GPS signals and a new device may not help. Some people have had success using external antennae in these situations.
