Hi all I have too haven't recieved any GPSfix updates. Noticed this for a month now.
What is going on? Why hasn't TT been updating GPSfix files? Or is it the case my TT home device is the problem?. |

This should fix it....
Using Explorer, browse to:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Downloads\complete.
Find the folder inside called "ephemeris" and delete all the contents (probably many folders called "QuickGPSfix" (plus a number)).
Then connect the TomTom to the PC, and close down Home if it starts up. Using Explorer, browse to the storage and find the folder called "ephem". Delete all the contents of that folder.
Now if you start up home, the downloads should start again. |

Why has this not been fixed from TT? Thread was made in 2009, I last posted in Jan 2011.
Needed to recheck this thread again to do this manual fix as I was going away this week. I vaguely remember it auto-updated me with a GPS fix in June 2011 when I last updated?
Now it seems to doesn't want to do that? _________________ Tom Tome XL IQ Routes

Lots of people get it occasionally, but it almost always sorts itself out if you follow the steps in my previous post.
Have you tried that again? _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Thanks for the reply.
You mean the manual fix of deleting the ephemeris files?
Yes I've tried that but everytime I connect to get a Quick GPS update I don't get a auto "QuickGPSfix"
Have to manually delete the files and reconnect for it to happen which is annoying. _________________ Tom Tome XL IQ Routes
