|
|
Last year I subscribed to the speed camera database and have had no problems downloading updates (payment was made by credit card).
Today I've tried to download the latest update, but, I can't seem to access the database. My guess is that me subscription has expired and I need to pay again. My main query is that I thought subscription was automatically updated until such time that my credit card expires, then I would have to update the site with the new card details.
Am I worrying about nothing?? (Don't want to be paying twice!!)
Speedy reply appreciated as I need to update database on sat nav before Tuesday.

It's probably best if you Submit A Support Request by clicking on the "Support" tab near the top of this web-page.
Incidentally, once you have opened the request page, your membership expiry date is shown near the bottom. This may help you decide whether an automatic payment has just been made or not. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

Raising a Support Ticket, with all the details, will probably get you a quicker result. _________________ Richard

or hover over the 'My Account' menu item (main menu, top of every page) and it will expand and show an expiry date if there is one.
but a support ticket will get you a better answer

It was me being thick, my account had expired and I hadn't read the e-mail notification to that effect. I have found out that only subscriptions paid by PayPal are automatically and not those paid by credit card. |

Just to clarify that, we do not take 'Credit Card' payment directly, we only accept payment via PayPal (Default option) or NoChex.
In your case you opted to pay using NoChex and, as you surmised, only PayPal has the auto-renewal option (although you can also choose to pay by PayPal and NOT enter into auto-renewal). _________________ Darren Griffin |

i know this is really nit picking, but when you pay initially auto-renewal will be set up. BUT you are then free to cancel the auto-renewal at any time. there isn't an option to opt-out of auto-renewal at the time of paying...
