When using Telmap two days ago it kept telling me that I was approaching "three star zones". What are they supposed to be? |

I had the same thing happen to me today. I use my Blackberry torch through a bluetooth headset as I ride a motorcycle and rely on the voice commands only. I would be interested to know what it means. |

Could really do with an option to switch that alert off. On some roads it's going off every 20 seconds! |

The 3 Star Zone alerts that you get are a result of reports arriving from the Wikango drivers community (Wikango is a traffic info provider).
for example, in cases where a driver reports a cup on the road, this alert will appear. even though the cup may left the area already.
please note that those notification are not a mistake even though they should not be permitted to user group. we will fix it on the next release.
in the meantime, you can disable it from the Telmap5 settings, or give us your activation code and we will fix it (tugadmin@telmap.com).
thanks!

Where is that setting? I can see how to stop speed camera alerts (which I want to keep) but not the three star zones. |

These settings referred to Android.
Unfortunately there is no way to turn off the Wikango on BB.
We found the problem, although we will be able to solve it only in the next version.
We appologize for any inconvenience to our UK users. |
