Hi! We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
It's not what you are looking for, but I note that you can do:
http://169.254.255.1/personal/ - and get within a browser directory access to part of the unit. Apart from download though, you can't do much else.
In addition to responding on Port 80 (http), I've noticed that the unit also responds on:
Port 22 - SSH - Putty/WinSCP asked for a username
Port 25 - normally SMTP email.
Port 110 - normally POP3 email
Port 119 - normally NNTP newsgroups
Port 143 - normally IMAP email
Port 465 - normally SMTP email over SSL
Port 563 - normally NNTP newsgroups over SSL
Port 993 - normally IMAP email over SSL
Port 995 - normally POP3 email over SSL
Port 3129
Some strange ports open unit, based on what they would normally be used for
Maybe someone will find something of interest here.

I've found it very reliable.
Good, fast routing,
Bright (but reflective) multi-touch screen - so you can pinch zoom and use swiping gestures to change pages for example
Good mount
Live services (Traffic, search with Google etc.) have been dodgy worldwide for the last few days
Some features missing on ALL the new TomTom models, that we got used to on older models. (Itinerary planning with 48 waypoints being the major one). _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-)
