Perhaps if everyone who had this problem applied for an RMA to TomTom to return their item to TomTom for a repair but not actually send it, this would overwhelm their system and raise the issue's profile? _________________ Drivelux |

Or just raise a support ticket asking them to pass the comments on to the developers and also link to here and the facebook group, as well as the thread on TTs own support forums.
Facebook group now up to 127 - it has shot up overnight!
I sense exponential growth as the word spreads!!!!
Just seen it is in the PGPSW newsletter +1 to PGPSW for the support. |

Tweet a link to this topic, or Facebook, mentioning @TomTom to raise the issue on Twitter too. I did one yesterday (I'm @olsworth). Raising the profile is what is needed. |

Thanks for drawing attention to this. I was thinking of buying a device with Live Services to replace my 720 and RDS-TMC, but I think I'm better off sticking with what I've got.
If TT don't reverse their policy of reducing the capability of their new devices more and more with every release, my next satnav will be a different brand! _________________ Anita

I have recently found out where HD Traffic is designed for, my 940 Live Services actually worked (after the delayed start) in the Canary Islands, it correctly reported no traffic delays and nothing was ever more than 50 miles away. _________________ Drivelux |

TT have started to listen - this is from their own support forum. Keep spreading the word to keep the pressure on.
Quote: | I don't have anything official on this yet, but the change being discussed is something that was rolled out way back in February. It was done as a response to a period where severe weather conditions were resulting in an overload of HD Traffic incidents. We were confident that it would not adversely affect the usefulness of HD Traffic.
We are getting a lot of positive feedback about the HD Traffic service, and we're continually adding new data to the feeds, like the UK Highway Agency and the Transport of London data that were both recently added to the UK feed (and discussed on this forum).
But we are taking the feedback in this thread and the Facebook group very seriously. We will need a little time to consider what the best options are and what the impact would be of making a change. It won't happen overnight, but we will keep you posted.
