I'm after a cheap (Who isn't?) Sat Nav that will do UK/Europe now. But I'd like to be able to add the US/Canada possibly at a later date. I'd prefer TomTom I guess due to previous experience (Until it was stolen!). Prefer screen size to be largish, say 4.3" or more. Any ideas?

Refurb. Go750? (or go straight for the 950 and not have to add the US maps later?)
It's usually cheaper to buy a model with all the maps you will want already installed, rather than to add them later at full price.
Generally, you need to think whether you want a model with an SD card slot for expansion (always my advice, but becoming harder with TomTom's stupid policies) so you can have ALL the maps at once. Or whether you would be happy temporarily removing the Europe maps when you want to add the US map for a trip. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Superb, I'll go for the 950. No mention of it on the TomTom site I take it it has been superceeded by an inferior model!
Any way thanks... |

Have a look on Amazon as they are still listing the 950 Live as a new purchase which means you also get the latest map guarantee for the European map, grab a Class 6, 4GB Micro SD card when you purchase the device or there won't be sufficiant storage space on the device for the new Western_Europe map along with the North American map - Mike |
