Tomtom XL Live Europe.
First day on road with my new toy in north London. Started well first journey showed traffic issues etc. Got back in car about an hour later to drive from Enfield to acton and noticed no traffic bar on right of screen. Switched unit off and back on and the bar returned but displayed no info. When tapped it came up saying this service not available in your country or region. Held the power button down to reset unit came back on and no bar at all again. Weather service and petrol prices are working. Any ideas why this is not showing the traffic bar and when it does it will not connect to tomtom server? At the moment my unit is not even showing the vertical bar again.
Many thanks for any advice. |

Have you used a unique e-mail address to register the new device, if you have used an e-mail address that has been associated with a previous device then all sorts of "fun" will be had - Mike |

MY TT 950 live HD Traffic has developed interesting problems too. My subscription is still current.
It came up with message something like " HD services are not valid for Region......"
Rebooted, no HD traffic on screen. No Traffic side bar either.
Went into main menu & HD traffic , tapped on Icon, got message "Connecting to TomTom Server"
30 minutes later no HD traffic
Tried Google Search and got message: "cannot connect to TomTom Live Services"
Tried Google Search again a while later and was connected
Tried to connect to HD traffic - got message "Connecting to TomTom Server" still nothing happens
Scratching my head here! Help! _________________ Mick

My Go950 is showing the traffic has updated but then if you browse the map that usually shows traffic there is no traffic shown. We working this morning so I'm guessing server issues at TomTom |

Mine has been hit and miss all day, and I have had the error messages about either no subscription information being available or that the service is not available in the country or region etc.
A bad day for HD Traffic me thinks..... |

Spent 30 mins on phone to tomtom cs and they came to the conclusion that my unit is faulty and to return it to amazon. Wondering now whether it is just a fault with their servers??
Will try again tomorrow. Would have thought if there was a problem they would have known about it and informed me. But then again this IS tom-tom cs we're talking about!!!
Mike - yes, I did set this new unit up with a unique email address on tomtom home. |

I get the traffic bar, but no information. I recall a year or so ago that it took TT several weeks to notice that their camera server was not working......you wouldn't know that on this site! _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

Just checked the TomTom cameras on my TT950 live and when I plan a route in Route Summary (Live) it states 'safety cameras Not available' _________________ Mick
