It really depends upon what device you aim to pair it with and the type of car you are using it in, for example if the car has an athermic windscreen a BT GPS in the rear window has a better chance than a phone mounted in the front.
Most modern phones won't see much of an improvement if used in normal cars that are supplied without coated windscreens - Mike |

As you know I've a HTC Desire and I've tried a BT receiver but there's no improvement over screen mounting the Desire.
The main problem was I couldn't use my BT repeater for directions/ calls etc at the same time. _________________ HUAWEI P30 Pro (new edition) with Speedtrap Alert & alcatel1 for SatNav

I am using a BT gps aerial with my HTC Wildfire and the improvement is dramatic.
The first fix is much quicker and exiting from a tunnel it re-aquires in less than 10 seconds.
20 quid on ebay and its solar too. no power cable needed on short journeys.
