From what I've been told, this is a back-end and infrastructure upgrade, not a Navore update.
Subscribers will get it automatically, by virtue of having a subscription to the data. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I doubt it.....
My thinking is that it is entirely back-end work and nothing needs to be changed on the device itself.
TT are well known for wording things very imprecisely in their press releases, so a comment like "drivers with a Live subscription will get the update automatically." may well mean that the Traffic downloads carry on just as before (but the incoming data is better).
And "It provides a greater range of rerouting alternatives..." could just mean that now minor rods and slip roads off motorways are included, then the re-routing can be more "intelligent". _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Ok thanks for clearing that up.
Interesting to note that the screenshot looks absolutely nothing like my traffic display, but I presume anyone can knock something up like that.
I am more than happy not to have a Navcore update, mine isn't broke, so doesn't need fixing
I wonder if we will actually notice any difference, as I use my TT every day, to and from work, and regular get traffic updates. |

First post, page 1 More likely to be a marketing image than a screenshot I guess. No doubt provided by TT for advertising, looks interesting though. The traffic bar, and info was the bit I was looking at, and not the actual traffic on the road |

If the new service has started, it certainly did not pick up the closure of the A724 on Wednesday between Blantyre and Drumsagard
The road was closed for about 4 - 5 hours and showed OK on the BBC travel reports. _________________ GO 750 Live HD Traffic, Map Europe 930, Navcore 9.510 |

Could be right there M8TJT, especially when it says 3 mins at the top, and 20 mins at the bottom, doh! |
