Hi deeranwith,
PoiLoader 2.6.1 works just fine with my wav files every week.
The only problem I encountered was, when it installed itself, it put itself into C:/Program files/Garmin (rather than C:/Garmin previously). So I had to move sox.exe to the new folder before wav files would load up.
This fixes the bug with the Apply button not being enabled after changing settings on the Voice or Account tabs.
Note that any changes to the Account settings will have no effect until the next scheduled check for updates - remember that you can use Check Now from the system tray icon to force a check.
I have tried to download the latest version using the link at the top of this subject but my ###***** browser opens a blank page instead of downloading the program....
When PGPSW changed their download process, MaFt kindly put in backwards compatibility support specifically for CM - which as he said above is still there, and working as it should.
I haven't had any reports of similar problems - has anything else changed recently on your PC perhaps?

Not that I can think of! CM3.5 worked first time but CM3.51 displays the error messages and when I went back to CM3.5 that no longer worked - hence why I wondered if PGPSW had changed anything or there was a "legacy" setting in CM 3.51 which affected previous settings. I'll completely remove all versions and edit the registry and try a "clean" install.
Thanks for the reply though. _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.80

I wonder is the PGPSW team have changed the settings with the latest speed camera file as I get the following error with 3.5 and 3.51 beta....
Error opening pgpsw-speed-cams-uk (or .eur).zip for reading and error opening output.csv. for reading.
Strange as 3.5 worked perferctly and I haven't changed any settings on my browser.
After a little head scratching, I believe that I've located the problem - it occurs when you initially add another database region and click the OK or Apply button, but after it has already made the daily check for updates.
However, it will sort itself out after the next scheduled check for updates, or you can always select Check Now... from the system tray menu.
FWIW this rather obscure behaviour affects versions 3.0, 3.5, and 3.51 alike
I ran CM yesterday afternoon with no success, ensured I changed no settings and ran again this morning following the new PGPSW database release - SUCCESS!
I was "testing" the 'Apply' button issue and did change regions from UK to Europe and back again during the testing so your diagnosis would seem to be correct.
Looking forward to the fix. _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.80

I have found another potential "bug". When you first run CM the Last Checked box updates with the new details. If you then change any setting (eg use own icons or include direction if known) the database updates exactly as it should but the Last Checked box doesn't update.
Under normal "weekly update" use you probably wouldn't change settings after initial set up but thought it might be worth reporting and seeing if you can 'sync' the information to reflect the 'true' last checked info.
This really is a great programme which makes updating a breeze

Nope, that's the intended behaviour - check for updates only happens once a day* (unless PGPSW start pushing twice-daily updates )
Indirectly, this is the cause of bug discussed above - whilst changing certain settings can necessitate the GPX files being regenerated from the currently downloaded databse, it isn't necessary to actually download it again. The exception to this is adding additional regions, which may require a download if they're not already cached locally.
(*unless you specify a shorter interval, or manually force a check)
Thanks for the reply - follow your logic about the download but I wonder if it would enhance the program if you included an extra box in the directories tab under POI Directory for something like Last setting changes??? _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.80
