SD Cards

Are they the same thing that some digital cameras use for memory? I've got a couple knocking about that I don't use, so it'd be nice to know :D .

There are various formats of Digital memory that cameras use such as :
Secure Digital - SD,
MMC,
Compactflash,
xD,
Memory Stick.
etc

So if the items you have knocking around state SD or Secure Digital then yes they are the same SD cards as used by PDAs.
Note that I have recently discoverd that some cheaper SD cards dont work to well with PDAs - even tho they may work fine with a camera.

Thanks Harry, they are indeed SD crads. Nice to know, I'll take one with me when I go to drool over the thing and see if it fits it. (The Tom Tom Go).
