Has TomTom withdrawn support for the Go X40 range?
Since 9.058 was released last year which has caused many issues, mainly with Live Services, there has never been any fix or later version, even though TomTom stated they were working on a fix.
I am reluctant to upgrade as I have nearly a year's subscription to Live Services left and there are still issues with the 1000 range which TomTom may do the same and abandon support when the next range is introduced. _________________ Drivelux |

There's a huge difference between withdrawing support for a product and not releasing further updates for it. I'm sure TomTom will still provide support for all models - even back to the original Classic, but they may not be anticipating creating further software updates. _________________ Garmin DriveSmart 50 LMT-D |

Not fixing major faults in the software is withdrawing support in my opinion, whilst it is reasonable not to expect future software feature enhancements on older models. _________________ Drivelux |

If that's the definition of withdrawing support, they did THAT when they withdrew support from my GO720 the day it went haywire on handsfree. And they withdrew support on the x30, x40 and x50 models as soon as they sold them with handsfree that went doolally! _________________ Dennis
