Hi, hope i've got this in the right section
Ive got radardroid installed on my HTC Wildfire phone (Android)
I believe I can use the PGPSW database on this app.
On the site it says to download the Igo directional database.
My question is which one for Radardroid?
Is it Igo Amigo or Igo My Way 2006 plus v8?
Don't wanna sign up to the site and end up using one of my three choices on the wrong database.
Thanks in advance

Once you have signed up for the site, you can download as many different versions of the databases as many times as you wish. The restriction is that you may only use it on three devices in your immediate family (paraphrased from somewhere or other) |

Hi Darren,
Just looked at the link, is there any way of downloading the app through your site as opposed to the android market?
I don't have an account set up for Android market, thats why I ask.
The other question is, does cameralert use google maps when its running?
If it does i'm worried about the cost of data on my mobile price plan.
The Radardroid has the option of using maps or just the gps with the database.

No sorry.

It uses maps if you wish or can be switched off you if you prefer not to. When off, no data is used.
The beauty of the app is you can download our database within the app, no install faff, you get reminded of updates and you can report cameras (and stand a chance of winning the life membership) via the app.
If you have a GMail account then you have an account, just need to pay for the app. You also get one free update so for 59p you will get a working app with latest data so you can evaluate before subscribing.
The user manual is here:

Sounds good Darren,
I've just looked again at the site, its got good reviews and the option to turn the map off sounds good as regards to saving on data charges
Do you know if it can be downloaded to your phone and charged on your phone bill as opposed to a gmail account?
Cheers

Naturally!

No, that option has only been available on some US networks so far, no UK/Europe operators support account billing for Android apps <yet>. _________________ Darren Griffin |
