Hi guys,
My remote has stopped working on my 940 - the remote light blinks but TT does not seem to want to talk to it. It's done this before (although not for quite a while) and seems to sort itself out if I don't use it for a couple of weeks but i have quite a few trips in the days ahead so would like to try and remedy it myself if I can. Have changed the batteries and still no go. Any ideas? (have already tried a soft reset).
How do I delete the bluetooth pairing or which file does it live in?
Cheers,
Rob. |

When it has happened to me I have had to use clearflash to reset the bluetooth part. When it has happened with a mobile I have had to facotry reset and run clearflash. I could not find a file that had the remote details in.
A couple of other points, it will not make contact with the device if it has not paired and you are moving. It will only pair whilst stationary.
Make sure you have not disabled bluetooth in the options or mobile phones settings and maybe try turning bluetooth on and off again. _________________ Drivelux |

I used to have this problem regularly on my 720 - remote would flash, then turn solid but not connected. Reset of the TomTom solved the problem and the remote would connect next attempt.
Not yet occurred on my 750. _________________ Alan

I didn't know this - but I'm sure I've connected while moving before.
Will give it a go anyway when I go out to the car.
Tried turning bluetooth on and off as one of the first options.
Will then try clearflash, I suspect this may do it as it stopped working when it was trying to connect and tomtom crashed and rebooted.
Will let you know how I get on. |

The unit will not recognise a new bluetooth connection while moving but will connect to a previously "paired" device. _________________ Alan
