I've created a few more Co-op icons as a test, this time in 24 bit colour. I'm afraid that I've had to simplify the font so that it more easily read and so that the colours can be more easily changed.
Here are the icons, with the exact colours copied from the Co-op website(s):
Co-op Bank
Co-op Electrical
Co-op Food
1. Are the icons any good?
2. If the icons are OK, which others ones are needed?

All of the above icons have been created in 24 bit colour. The colours have been taken (sampled) from the co-op websites themselves so the icon colours should be very close to the originals, and certainly close enough when displayed on a SatNav.
Most of the co-op's lettering is in white, which does not make for a good border colour. Where the background colour is dark enough, I have not added a border. Where the background colour is too light, I have added a border.
I'm using Photobucket to host the 24 bit BMPs, however in the uploading they have been converted to JPGs.
Please discuss the above, if the general consensus is positive then I'll email Richard the all of the 24 bit colour BMPs.

Well done for doing all of those mate.
I have to admit I still prefer my 'co' and '-op' on different lines to get the font size larger, but I guess we'll have to agree to differ! At least the OP has a choice now.
