Without more information we can't really tell you if the system you have is compatible, I'm afraid.
It's not possible to buy every sat nav model to test, especially when they are built into a car!
So you'll have to do a bit of research yourself first.
For a starter, do you know if it mentions adding "third-party POIs" or "user POIs" to the unit in any of the documentation? |

I too have a new Focus with the optional Sony sat nav. I would like to know if the speed cameras can be added to this system |

The Ford manuals can be downloaded from here.
However it looks like you cannot even add your own pois from the menus, never mind third party files.
All it has to say on pois is:
This feature allows you to customise the
route to your specific journey requirements
(for example select a museum on route or
a specific point of interest near your
destination).
I have a new Focus, and the reason that I didn't buy the satnav was because it did not explicitly state in the brochure that it could load the Pocketgps world database!!! |
