I have just installed tomtom3 wired gps on a Dell Axim 5 and the software is saying that the gps is disabled, how do I "able" the tomtom reciever. Also the software seems to run incredibly slow.
Please help!! |

Please remove the keyboard driver that is blocking the COM1 port _________________ Lutz

Do you actually have a keyboard ?
If yes, go to the config program for that and disable it there. If you don't use it any more then go to Start > Settings > System > Remove Programs and remove the driver.
If you don't have a keyboard then something else is blocking the COM port. What programs are listed in the "Remove Programs" screen? _________________ Lutz

When you start the TomTom Gps driver (via Start > Settings > System >GPS) , what ports are listed in the second tab? _________________ Lutz
