The does appear briefly but when I click on it to open it up it states that it is idle then without me doing anything else it exits,I have just tried to reload it,yes the icon appears I checked the speed camera icons ok but when I go into the settings and to tick a box camera manager exits and the icon goes !

In the mean time to overcome this I am running POI & cameramanager on my netbook but this is not what I want,I want to run it on my desktop .

1. What appears briefly, and how long for?

2. Left click, right click?
3. How does it state that it is idle? Pop-up tooltip (yellow box)?

4. How long after loading does it quit?

Not sure that I understand what you mean, there.

5. Can you think of any difference between your netbook/desktop? Windows versions, antivirus software, user/administrator account etc?

And finally, my two questions from above:

6. Does Camera Manager appear in the task manager, after the icon dissappears?
7. Are you sure that the icon isn't just being hidden by Windows? (If the settings window vanished, then it sounds like this is not the case.)

2/ Left click opens camera manager but it closes straight away and icon
goes

2A/ Right click opens the main menu, click on settings start to change
settings and it closes

3/ Put the cursor on the icon and it shows a balloon stating the
camera manager is idle

4/ It quits as soon as i start to do anything

4A/ I reloaded via the intial download, tha icon appears left click to the
setting ok,go to change a setting it closes and icon goes

5/ Net book runs on windows xp and norton 360

Desk tp runs on Windows 7 and Norton 360

6/ If i open the task manager with the icon showing it shows at the top of
the Processes list, but if the icon is not showing it does not show in task

I'm running Windows 7 and IE9 and keep getting the "not looged in to PGPSW" message.

I have disabled the Internet protection (set to off) but CM returns the messasge that it can't open the .Zip file or the .Csv file.

Anybody else having the same issue or can suggest a fix please?

Mine was Ok until today. I got the "not logged in" message constantly even though I was. I couldn't open it at all - it just ignored all the clicks (left or right). Mine is the paid for version.

I've stopped it in Task Manager.

Nope!

Still trying to get IE9 and Windows 7 to recognise the updates. I have turned of the "protection mode" in IE but this has made no difference.

Am hoping that ASH10 is in the case so we can all use this cracking bit of software again!

When I started mine, as well as getting permission from here I also PM'd Ash out of courtesy - but did not receive a reply, so I carried on........

Mine is in the final stages of testing and I'm happy to push it out to anyone interested.

It's now in VB2010 and needs .NET Framework 4 Client pack. I've built an Installshield installation but it's 75Mb as it includes all the .NET 4 variants for all compatible operating systems.

I'm only using the Speed Zoned complete set and I rely on the user downloading the cameras manually. From there on the functionality and output is basically the same.

I post a screenie over the weekend.
