I have been just installed CamerAlert, updated the database, linked my account to pocketgps, took the car for a drive, and couldn't get a GPS fix!
Got home, took the phone into the garden, Google maps got a GPS fix within 5 secs, RAC traffic plus got a GPS fix within 10 secs, CamerAlert couldn't get a fix after 10 minutes. I have tried the app with and without the 'Use Network Location' .
Any ideas on what may be the problem...? |

What phone do you have? Have you tried turning on "use network location" in the advanced settings?
The main one though, have you tried driving with it?

Yes, I tried driving and nothing, thought I would give the phone (Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700) a chance by giving a clear view of the sky in the garden whilst stationary. I tried with and without 'use network location' and still no joy. I use Google Navigation and RAC Traffic Plus a lot and they both work great - WTF! |
