I did the latest firmware upgrade last night without problems.
However when I used my Satmap today odd things where happening with Trail Up and North Up.
I usually use Trail up with the blue circle at the bottom of the screen, not bothered about where I've been only where I'm going.
I noticed that the track did not seem to be going straight up but seemed to be tracking at an odd angle, in fact the view seemed to be North down!, (I was heading North-ish at the time), so I switched to centre position for the circle and the track was now at about 45 deg lower left to upper right.
I was a bit confused for a while but having worked out what was occurring I decided to set the compass over ride speed to a different setting just to see what would happen, I normally keep it at "Never" as I found that when I stop the bike at a junction or whatever the map jumps around trying to find north which often means that the map ends up upside down or the wrong way round.
Anyway, after I reset the compass the Trail Up/North Up seemed to work OK. Right, I thought, I will turn off the compass again and see what happens and it went back to the way it was. Iffy firmware I thought.
So I went though the whole thing again but this time after setting the compass to "Never" again everything was working just fine so now I'm confused Confused Confused
I've just turned it off and on again and all seems to well still, maybe just gremlins.

I've been out again this morning after having a fiddle with it last night and I am beginning to think that I was more than a bit confused last night.
I think something has changed with the way the compass and the GPS relate to each other but I can't put my finger on it.
An email to SatMap I think just to make a complete fool of myself Embarassed Embarassed
