Why so urgent?
If your Via uses the MyTomTom web interface, have you had the Navcore software update and new MyTomTom version that gives you "Add shared POI" yet?
Once you have that, you can add POIs including the PGPSW camera database.
You have to add the .ov2 data files and the .bmp icon one at a time with the clanky new system.
At present you cannot add the .ogg voice files from this site for the camera warnings, so you either have to use a sound effect for the warning, or if you have text-to-speech voices on your model you can use that.
You either type in what you want the voice to say as a warning (this is laborious though) or rename the camera data files to something suitable and get the voice to read out he file name.
If you need any further info on these last options, ask again. |

Thanks for reply
I have a 720 but need traffic built in ie the live services but want to use pwgps cameras, can you suggest a model that will give me live services but still allow the ov2 from here as well as the other poi files? The 550 or 750? |

The Via you asked about, will as will the Go1000 and 1005 (but without the voice warnings, as I said)
Otherwise it's the Gox40 models (if you can find one), or the Gox50 models, or the XL LIVE IQ Routes |

A 550 Live or 750 Live will do exactly what you want, the newer models will not.
550 Live = UK & ROI map coverage
750 Live = Western Europe map coverage

Indeed this device will be fine for UK&ROI but I wouldn't recommend one of these for European map coverage as its not got enough memory and no expansion capability - I have had enough of the dumbed down zonal mapping they are now providing - Mike |

750 has Europe mapping so you don't need that. Other then that the 550 and 750 are identical.
So Go550, (or XL LIVE IQ Regional if you do not need the other features of the Go range), would be good for you. |

No harm in trying, if it doesn't work or you get any odd effects, simply delete and the software will recreate. _________________ Darren Griffin |
